Category: Empowering U.S. Military Students
This is the story of a teaching life shaped by movement – across oceans, cultures, and decades. What started with orientation in Tokyo turned into years of teaching on military bases across Asia, Europe, Middle East, and North America. These essays walk through that time, one chapter at a time, each with its own rhythm and discovery. My students taught me to be flexible, to listen, and to stay curious. They inspired me with their resilience and generosity. Teaching them was both an education and a privilege. I offer these stories as a thank-you – and as a record of what we shared.
